Medical Transcriptionists
We currently utilize independent contractors for our transcription services. The investment by a contractor is very minimal. All you need is a PC with an internet connection (high speed recommended), a programmable foot pedal, and a set of headphones. The software is provided to you at no cost. We offer a competitive rate of pay based on a 65-character line.
Requirements
We require each transcriptionist to have at least two years of full-time experience in acute care medical records with a knowledge of the basic four (history and physical, consult, discharge summary, and operative notes) and/or multi-specialty clinic notes. We also require that all of the transcription be performed within the borders of the United States, due to concerns regarding privacy of protected health information.
